Welcome to my art corner!
My name is Jodie and I’m a passionate digital illustrator from Jamaica. I have been drawing my whole life and I have a deep-rooted love for visual storytelling. I've been on a journey of creative exploration that has led me to where I am today
As a quiet child, I spent my time doodling away on my school books. This often upsetted my mother who always said I’m “wasting the book page dem”. Despite frequent scolding, I never stopped allowing my creativity to flow as I drifted to my own little world. Since then, I've honed my craft through years of practice, experimentation, and I did art in highschool which gave me the needed foundations.
In 2016, I began freelancing, working on various projects such as children's books, character designs, and brand concepts, gaining valuable experience. As I pursue my dreams in the design and arts industry, I'm eager to connect with fellow creatives, collaborators, and clients who share my passion for visual storytelling.
